Can I specify generated code for sqoop import from java to Scala?

If I do something like below:

sqoop import -m 3
–connect “jdbc:mysql://ms.itversity.com:3306/retail_db”
–username=retail_user
–password=itversity
–table=products
–hive-import
–hive-database paslechoix2
–create-hive-table
–warehouse-dir=paslechoix2
–compress
–compression-codec org.apache.hadoop.io.compress.SnappyCodec
–outdir java_output

Sqoop will create a java file in the --outdir java_output

The java file is way too tedious to read, I wonder if I can specify the file type to scala or python?
