Creating sqoop job

#1

Hi All, when I try to create a sqoop job with below command it failed, what am i doing wrong?. I got unrecognozed argument for all except for --create
sqoop job --create arul_job
–import
–connect jdbc:mysql://ms.itversity.com:3306/retail_export
–username retail_user
–password itversity
–table xxx_products
–target-dir /user/xxxx/solutions/xxx/products-increm
–check-column order_id
–incremental append
–last-value 0

@arul Give space between -- import and run the command by specifying a single map task with -m 1
sqoop job --create arul_job -- import --connect jdbc:mysql://ms.itversity.com:3306/retail_export --username retail_user --password itversity --table xxx_products --target-dir /user/xxxx/solutions/xxx/products-increm --check-column order_id --incremental append --last-value 0 -m 1

Thank you it worked. That was silly mistake but couldn’t figure it out on my own as it was my first sqoop job and I didn’t think a space is needed there.
