Getting error in sqoop import

For sqoop import, the connection string should be given in “connect” argument. So, the syntax should be,

sqoop import --connect “jdbc:mysql://nn01.itversity.com/retail_db”
–username retail_dba
–password itversity
–table departments
–target-dir “HDFS_location”
-m 1
