#1

Apache Sqoop is written in Java and uses JDBC to connect to Database.

  • As Apache Sqoop uses Java, it is important for us to have JDBC jar file for underlying database as part of Sqoop Classpath.
  • Sqoop Classpath in our environment - /usr/hdp/2.6.5.0-292/sqoop/lib
  • Jar Filename - mysql-connector-java.jar
