Can anyone tell me how to avoid this? I did not idle for more than 5 minutes, and got terminated
Where are you getting this problem? web console or any other platform?
The web console is a bit unstable at times. We highly recommend using putty or Cygwin on windows and terminal on Linux or Mac.
I am always using Cygwin
Configure the client
Edit /etc/ssh/ssh_config and find the ServerAliveInterval option (if it’s not there, add it). Again, this value is in seconds, so a 9-minute interval is 540 seconds.
Thanks. Are you talking about the /etc/ssh/ssh_config is sitting in CygWin? I don’t see either a folder or a file in that name
Can you run ssh-host-config and configure Cygwin with ssh service.
then you should find the /etc/ssh/ssh_config file. Can you try this?
OK, the file is created, I will keep an eye on it. Thanks.
