hi team,
I am installing spark on my local machine. I followed below video from itversity and installed all required components .
Setup Spark on Windows
but on last step its throwing error “The root scratch dir: /tmp/hive on HDFS should be writable. Current permissions are: rw-rw-rw-” . I have set required permission to “/tmp/hive” folder using “winutils chmod 777 /tmp/hive” command. still its throwing same error.
can someone please look into this and get back @earliest?
