Doubt on "Sqoop import-all-tables"

Hi All ,

I used the script " sqoop import-all-tables --connect “jdbc:mysql://nn01.itversity.com:3306/retail_db” --username retail_dba --password itversity " to import all the tables to my hdfs but I didnt provide the HDFS Path. By Default in which location the tables will be stored ?

Anyone please answer to my Query.

@amit0900 most likely /user/user_name/retail_db

Updated this… since < user_name > caused as “”

Have you tried running this command? Is that successful?

@itversity, I have done in the past and it was successfully completed.

Now, also submitted and its in progress. Let you know that

@itversity, Script has successfully completed. And as I mentioned that the files are imported into the path
/user/<user_name> hence I do see the files in the location /user/email2dgk/<table_name>
