Optionally-enclosed-by vs enclosed-by

By going through the sqoop documentation tried --optionally-enclosed-by but it return result as such --enclosed-by , what is the difference ?.As mentioned in sqoop documentation i didn’t get the output .

Please correct me …
Sqoop import used :

sqoop import --connect “jdbc:mysql://quickstart.cloudera:3306/retail_db” --username retail_dba --password cloudera --table department_escapedby --target-dir /home/cloudera/sqoop/delimiter/optionallyenclosedby --optionally-enclosed-by ‘"’ --enclosed-by ‘"’ --escaped-by \\ --fields-terminated-by , --lines-terminated-by ‘\n’ --outdir files

sql data:
±--------------±----------------+
| department_id | department_name |
±--------------±----------------+
| 2 | Fitness |
| 3 | Footwear |
| 4 | Apparel |
| 5 | Golf |
| 6 | Outdoors |
| 7 | Fan Shop |
| 8 | Test " one |
| 9 | Test " two |
±--------------±----------------+
Result imported data :
“2”,“Fitness”
“3”,“Footwear”
“4”,“Apparel”
“5”,“Golf”
“6”,“Outdoors”
“7”,“Fan Shop”
“8”,“Test " one”
“9”,“Test " two”

As per documentation resultset should look like below , but i didnt get
2,Fitness
3,Footwear
4,Apparel
5,Golf
6,Outdoors
7,Fan Shop
8,"Test " one"
9,“Test " two”

If you remove --eclosed-by ‘"’ you will get the desired result. By looking at query, it seems like you are enclosing everything with ", thats the reason result is coming like that.
