Unable to use ambari files view or hive view

Please share the screen shot if ambari files view or hive view are not working.

Hello ITVERISTY - I am unable to use HIVE View.

Also I dont see the /user/hive/warehouse directory. Am I looking at the correct directory.

But I can see the /user/anilreddy23/warehouse directory

Hi Anil,

What are you trying to look at under Hive view.You can use the tabs queries and select the Database under it
Also , note the directory is /apps/hive/warehouse(in Hortonworks) and not /user/hive/warehouse(in Cloudera)

I created a hive database in my username in the ambari hive query. But I can not see them in the database list. I refreshed the list, still it doesn’t show up

enter hive
then "use "
